Italian yard Wider has revealed details of its 39.62 metre Wider 130 project, a full displacement, all aluminium yacht with Diesel Electric propulsion designed to offer exceptional range and spacious living without compromising the clean modern lines that WIDER are known for. The sporty exterior styling of the yacht allows for huge deck space totalling more than 200m2, split into three distinct luxury areas: the foredeck for sun worshippers, bridge deck aft for alfresco dining and entertaining and a generous beach club, famous across the Wider range, for easy access to the sea.
Outdoor relaxation areas are in abundance. The upper aft deck features sun loungers and exterior furniture. The stern garage opens and the transom door folds down to create an expansive beach club. The magnificent beach club that makes all Wider vessels stand out, also defines Winder 130. The transom door folds down when at anchor to create a 40m2 oasis, completely private and right on the water. Inside, there is a bar and storage for water toys, that can stow an 5.0m tender along with two jet skis. All of the tenders and toys can be launched and retrieved by a crane housed out of sight within the yacht’s superstructure.
On the upper deck, the full-height sliding glass panels divide the sky lounge from the aft deck. The yacht features six generous staterooms and the spacious full beam master stateroom on the main deck, that includes a dedicated owner’s study as well as a sea terrace on the starboard side, allowing for breakfast or evening cocktails to be enjoyed over the water. 7 crew members are accommodated in three twin cabins on the lower deck as well as a sizeable cabin for the captain next to the wheelhouse.
The Wider 130 is powered by Diesel Electric technology. A range of 2,600nm is expected at 12 knots, increasing to 3,400nm at the economical speed of 10 knots. The yacht has a top speed of 14 knots and can also run solely on batteries, in total silence, when in zero emission mode.
