Italian shipyard Baglietto has marked the birth of the La Spezia-based boat builder’s new Fast line with the launching of 46m Fast superyacht. The new yacht stands out for her streamlined bow and rakish lines expressing a strong personality, but can also boast an imposing stern with hawses, thereby maintaining the family feeling with previous Baglietto yachts.
Her exterior was designed in collaboration with Francesco Paszkowski as an evolution of the aluminum planing yachts for which Baglietto has long been known. The trapeze-shaped windows in the hull complement the rectangular ones arranged on two different levels, enhancing the slender shape of the hull and giving a more contemporary touch to the yacht’s highly charming outer profile. To characterize the exterior lines, the shipyard has added the compact shape of the superstructure, which is not too high to reinforce aerodynamic penetration.
The upper deck aft of the 46m yacht offers a massive open terrace overlooking the sea and boasts teak flooring, while it can be furnished with a large table for al fresco dining and a spacious sunbathing area. The ample upper deck offers a comfortable saloon with a lounge area, a captain’s cabin as well as the helm station. The crew quarters are situated on the lower deck and include four twin cabin as well as a single cabin, and a dinette.
Interiors were created by Paszkowski along with Margherita Casprini. The lavish décor is contemporary with warm rosewood shades that harmonize with white lacquered ceilings and side panels. The master is on the main deck, and four guest staterooms are belowdecks.
Powered by twin MTU 16V4000 engines, the yacht reaches a speed of 28 knots and will be premiered at the upcoming Cannes and Monaco boat shows.
