At the La Spezia-based shipyard, Italian luxury yacht builder Baglietto has launched ANDIAMO, a 48 m steel and aluminium displacement yacht under the 500GRT. The exterior lines of the motor yacht have been designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, that also took care of interiors, in cooperation with architect Margherita Casprini. The yacht will be on display as a worldwide premiere at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows in September.
The exterior of ANDIAMO is inspired by traditional stylish features of Baglietto displacement yachts, however features some innovative elements, like the “reversed” glazing of the helm station, which enhances visibility from the bridge and the new and more modern athwart garage aft forward of a nice “beach club” area, when open. The yacht boasts 3767 sq.ft of luxury areas, half of it is fully devoted to the sun deck (1506 sq.ft) that includes an infinity pool with falls, a dining area served by bar, barbecue and grill and a comfortable sunbathing area forward on the same deck. Another outdoor dining area is located aft on the upper deck, while two nice terraces open on both sides of the cinema room centrally located on this deck.
Onyx and lacquered ebony are the key elements of the interiors of the latest Baglietto construction. Amid ship a formal winding staircase in steel and leather which is the central element of the entire yacht, connects the three decks. This yacht has a traditional layout: 5 cabins are dedicated to guests on the lower deck. The full-beam master stateroom is located aft on the main deck and includes a dressing room and two separate bathrooms (his and hers).
ANDIAMO is powered by 2 MTU engines 12V4000M63 which allow a comfortable top speed of 16kn and cruising speed of 12kn. A cutting edge fully integrated wheelhouse is supplied by Telemar. She is built in the highest class of the Lloyds Register of Shipping and MCA compliant.
