Billed as high-tech survival instrument, Breitling Emergency Night Mission is the world’s first wristwatch with built-in dual frequency personal locator beacon. Available in three special editions, the timepiece features the ultralight and robust black titanium case, the blackness of which is achieved by a high-resistance carbon-based treatment.
The Swiss watchmaker Breitling highlighted the dial of Emergency Night Mission with the orange hands and hour-markers as well as the rubber strap in the same vivid color, to create a powerful contrast with the black case. This distinctive opposition is picked up on the second model, available in black and yellow. The third version, however, comes with shimmering midnight blue mother-of-pearl dial echoed by a matching rubber strap.
Besides being fitted with miniaturized transmitter and original integrated antenna system, the Breitling Emergency features a personal locator feature, the first of its kind in the world, to work with the International Cospas-Sarsat satellite system. Synonymous with all-terrain safety for professionals and adventurers around the globe.
A dual frequency transmitter serves both to trigger alerts and to guide search and rescue operations. Designed as an authentic instrument for professionals, it is also equipped with a multifunction Breitling SuperQuartz electronic chronograph movement ten times more accurate than standard quartz, and officially chronometer-certified.
