Chanel has unveiled its sophisticated Spring-Summer 2017 campaign which is fronted by Arizona Muse and is photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. The styling is the creative work of Carine Roitfeld while hair stylist Sam McKnight and makeup artist Tom Pecheux took care of the beauty.
Inspired by the bold contrast of eras, the the Chanel Spring-Summer 2017 ad campaign introduces a mix of Eighties and Nineties-inspired motifs, such as bright bold makeup looks, lingerie dressing and even slightly hip hop-inspired looks. In it, Karl Lagerfeld accentuates the contrasts as he captures the transformations of a contemporary creature. The designer has selected Arizona Muse to embody the metamorphosis of a contemporary creature and a pop Lolita. The campaign has it all: daring colors and black and white portraits, close-ups or bodies in motion.
For Chanel Spring-Summer 2017 campaign, Arizona Muse is portrayed playing with different personalities: the cyberpunk and elegant and timeless. She rocks a series of resin and silvery metal cuffs that go well with a patent leather jacket worn with the BOY CHANEL handbag.
The iconic House handbag is revisited in a perforated white leather version while a fanny pack nonchalantly clashes with a multi-color cotton tweed jacket and skirt ensemble worn with a yellow crêpe de chine blouse. To complete the look Arizona Muse sports both Bantu knots and cornrows.
