At the latest Monaco Yacht Show, CRN’s 55-metre megayacht M/Y Atlante received the prestigious international award “Best of Best 2016”, in the category “Yachts 100 to 195 feet”. The Italian shipbuilder and brand, part of the Ferretti Group, specializes in the construction of fully-custom steel and light aluminium alloy pleasure vessels between 40 and 100 metres.
The “Best of the Best” award is assigned by American lifestyle magazine Robb Report, whose experts identify and select the best products in different categories across the luxury sector. The “Best of the Best” is a connoisseur’s guide to the finest yachts, cars, hotels, watches, wines, and many other luxury goods, and is the reference for all those who always look for the excellence of the greatest brands.
M/Y Atlante turns heads with her very clear identity, easily recognizable stylistic features, and the thorough care for details. She is the result of the work of CRN’s Engineering Department, who took care of naval engineering, design firm Nuvolari Lenard, in charge of exteriors, and Gilles & Boissier, who was responsible for the interior design.
Her strong stylistic identity, which draws inspiration from some elements typical of military crafts: square shapes and sharp lines, is refined with a sophisticated interior. The mega yacht oozes class with marble walls and staircases, teakwood ceilings and floors, and she is fitted with a spa with a Turkish bath, a solarium, and a gym. At the stern is a fold-down beach club, and the tender garage can be transformed into a teak-floored cinema, party area, or terrace overlooking the sea. The four-deck, 180-foot M/Y Atlante is equipped with two 1230 KW 1800 RPM Caterpillar engines that push her to a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
