Dom Pérignon kicks off 2017 with the launch of a unique experience created in collaboration with the chef Alain Ducasse. The champagne connoisseurs will be able to explore the Dom Pérignon Plenitudes in the prestigious setting of the recently opened restaurant Ducasse au Château de Versailles.
Alain Ducasse has created a special venue to support the tasting of Dom Pérignon P2 (Second Plenitude). The 1998 vintage will be the highlight of the elegant 10-course dinner that playfully combines seasonal products with contemporary techniques to illustrate the three facets of the wine: intensity, minerality and precision. The aspiration behind Ducasse au Château de Versailles x Dom Pérignon collaboration is to transcend everyday sensations.
Since the order of the dishes refers to the 18th century Royal dinners, the cuisine accompanying the sampling of Dom Pérignon P2 1998 is contemporary and features a modern combination of flavours and textures. Every single detail of the experience is take care of: the sumptuous surroundings of the Château, the refined waiter’s outfits and the tableware that includes silver-plated cutlery, hand-crafted Venetian-style glassware and pretty porcelain from Bernardaud in Limoges.
This luxuriously contemporary experience will be available in 2017 for private hire at the “Ducasse au Château de Versailles” restaurant.
