Policromia is Fendi’s first haute joaillerie watch created in collaboration with Delfina Delettrez Fendi, daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi and the representative of the 4th generation of the Roma Fashion House. Inspired by Fendi’s hometown of Rome, the collection’s name originates from the Greek words poly meaning multiple and khrôma or colors.
The Policromia collection of fine jewelry timepieces is easily recognizable thanks to elliptical layers of diamonds that evoke the arches of Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana, the Fendi Headquarters in Rome, while the various surfaces placed on the dial are inspired by the architectural structure of the Eternal City and its ancient streets. The collection of watches Policromia is comprised of twenty different models in white and yellow gold with malachite and green mother of pearl or lapis lazuli and blue mother of pearl.
The Policromia watches boast swiss-made movement, diamond bezel, genuine alligator straps handmade in the Roman Maison’s ateliers in Italy, and are finished with 18 kt gold buckles.
Fendi’s latest high jewellery watch was unveiled in an exclusive 3D video by the London based, German photographer Daniel Sannwald, which integrates innovation and classic elements through bold graphic effects in which Delfina Delettrez Fendi takes on the appearance of a statue, a goddess who lives in a distant world, while the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana becomes the magical place where her creations come to life.
