From the 3rd to the 11th December, Ferretti Yachts will participate in the 2016 edition of Salon Nautique de Paris, a leading exhibition for the maritime sector including yachts, boats, parts, motors, equipment and services. There, the brand of Ferretti Group will showcase the new flybridge Ferretti Yachts 450, which also will be present in Düsseldorf at the BOOT 2017, the largest German trade show dedicated to boating and water sports.
Ferretti Yachts 450 is the result of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, Studio Zuccon International Project – for the design of the exterior and the interior layout – and the Engineering Department who handled the technical and naval design as well as the interior design.
Premiered at the 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival, Ferretti Yachts 450 was designed with the idea of inspiring new owners and taking everyone else by surprise. The yacht turns heads with the shape of its hull, its generous volumes, air of elegance, and practical layout of its interiors. With its sporty lines and abundance of natural light in the living areas, the Ferretti Yachts 450 exploits the contrast of materials and colours on board, creating a sophisticated dialogue between the veneers, lacquered surfaces and ample use of textiles.
Salon Nautique de Paris is an important milestone for the new flybridge, as this boat show brings the leading international players of the boating industry together in Paris. The Ferretti Yachts 450 is the brand’s entry in the strategic market of yachts between 40 and 50 feet long. With the support of ABYS Yachting, the official dealer in France, the new flybridge can be admired in all its unrivaled beauty: from the width of the hull and geometrical volumes and from the elegance of the interior and its functionality.
The unmistakable style of the Ferretti Yachts 450 was nominated for the Nautic Design Awards, the competition organized by the trade exhibition – in cooperation with the French nautical magazines “Moteur Boat” and “Neptune” – which will award the best design for motor boats in categories Day Boats and Cruisers. The winners, selected by the votes of both public and jury, will be announced on December 9th.
