Gigi Ganatra Duff Joins Lionheart Capital As Chief Marketing Officer

Lionheart Capital, a Miami-based global real estate development and capital investment firm, has announced the appointment of marketing royalty Gigi Ganatra Duff as Chief Marketing Officer. This is the first time the company has appointed a CMO, and Gigi, with her strong record of achievement across a wide range of industries and brands, is perfect for this position. The marketing veteran will play a significant role not just in their growing luxury profile of the brand, but also change the game in South Florida business and real estate world.

Gigi Ganatra Duff first moved to Miami Beach in 2002 to establish the Miami office for a New York City based nonprofit arts and entertainment organization Gen Art. She was then Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Terra Group, where she was honored as one of “The 50 Most Powerful Women in South Florida Real Estate,” and then served as Managing Director of Harrison & Shriftman/Miami. She eventually moved to New York in 2009 and was the Senior Director of Global Communications for Starwood Hotels. There she was the primary spokesperson for W Hotels Worldwide, Le Méridien, St. Regis and The Luxury Collection and responsible for developing and implementing global public relations campaigns, generating media awareness for the brands worldwide, as well as managing a cadre of global, divisional and regional creative agencies. Before coming back full circle to Miami, for the last four years Gigi was Vice President of HSNi, the publicly traded multi-channel retailer.

Ganatra Duff brings to Lionheart Capital more than twenty years of experience in strategic marketing, brand development, and communications within the fashion, design, art, travel and real estate industries. During her time at HSNi, she oversaw corporate and consumer communications for all nine HSNi brands including the internal and external communications strategy for the business, brand awareness, executive positioning, crisis communications, corporate responsibility, public relations, partnerships, and events.
