London-based studio H2 Yacht Design presented their latest 50-metre superyacht concept, Elara the exterior of which is defined by an integrated balcony structures. Her dynamic and sporty appearance combines iconic H2 styling cues with very specific luxury credentials. The concept boasts a Jacuzzi on the fore deck and another on her upper deck.
She also features an ample covered outdoor space on the aft main deck and an open space with dining facilities on the deck above.
The theme of integrated balcony structures and dynamic surfacing is a studio language currently being explored by H2 Yacht Design. This design ethos was shown to the yachting world in its full effect on the recent 123-metre Jupiter project launched by Lurssen earlier this year. – James Bermudez, Design Director at H2
Continuous lines elongate the 50m Elara superyacht’s profile adding to the sense of motion and energy, with the subtle balconies on bridge deck extend aft from the wings stations to provide guests with the functionality of additional exterior deck space.
The refined concave surfacing cuts into the superstructure giving interest and accentuating a lightweight sporty appearance. The wrap over carbon mast delivers a distinctive signature and opens up the exterior sun deck to give unobscured panoramic views.
