The Hareide Design studio has introduced their vision of contemporary super yacht design. A 108m superyacht concept draws heavily from the industrial background of a renowned automotive designer. With this hybrid mega yacht project, the studio aims to “shift the focus from extrovert admiration, to creating a platform for actively experiencing the beauty of nature and the changing elements.”
The mega yacht is constructed on the base of a classic 108 m mono hull design with the unique combination of elegance and modernity of Scandinavian design. The extensive use of glass throughout the exterior provides unmatched views of the surrounding world while a helipad brings guests on board in style.
The Harried Design’s mega yacht features an elevated dining and viewing area, a stunning garden surrounding a 20 m pool and a seamless transition to the water at the stern. The multifunctional space of the grand hall gives a jaw-dropping view and contact with the surrounding nature.
The ship draws its sustainable energy and sufficient amount of power for slow cruising along quiet shorelines, from the 300 square meters of high efficiency solar panels charging banks of lithium-ion batteries. For longer distance and higher speed, the yacht is kitted out with diesel-electric propulsion.
