Louis Vuitton Opens a Madison Avenue Pop-Up Store
Louis Vuitton opens a Madison Avenue Pop-Up solely dedicated to the impeccable Louis Vuitton and Jeff Koons collaboration. A real visual feast, the store entices with the facade adorned with the gold motif, featuring the LVxJK monogram. There are four show windows with double height LED screens, glorifying the artists and their masterpieces. Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Fragonard and Rubens names are written in brass.

At 4,200 retail square feet and two stories high, the Madison Avenue Pop-Up honors the original works by the Masters with enlarged prints and descriptions of the work written on freestanding angled panels. Between the prints are large mirrors and crates with the gold flower motif towering up to the second floor. Replicas of Jeff Koon’s signature rabbit sculpture sit atop the towering crates. The pop-up exclusively offers leather goods and accessories from this collaboration.

Louis Vuitton has joined forces with the New York-based artist Jeff Koons to create a new range of bags and accessories. One of the most widely recognized figures in contemporary art, Koons has brought imagery from his recent ‘Gazing Ball Paintings’ – a series of large-scale hand-painted reproductions of works by the Old Masters – to a range of Louis Vuitton products.

The Pop-Up store will be open from April 28th through July 31st, 2017.
