Louis Vuitton Series 6 Ad Campaign

The aristocratic Île Saint-Louis is known as one of the most elegant districts in Paris served as an ideal setting for Louis Vuitton’s latest advertising campaign, shot by Bruce Weber and styled by Marie-Amélie Sauvé. Dubbed Louis Vuitton Series 6, the ad campaign is fronted by famous actresses Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Sasha Lane.

Nicolas Ghesquière has decided to capture four celebrity ambassadors in striking silhouette against a minimalist backdrop. The full Louis Vuitton Series 6 campaign also features outdoor images of models Natalie Westling, Rianne Van Rompaey, Sora Choi, Jean Campbell, Masha Skokova, Mica Arganaraz and Alexandra Micu, taken on the legendary Île Saint-Louis in Paris.

The Île Saint-Louis, which is one of two natural islands in the Seine river, was chosen for reason. Nicolas Ghesquière explains that “Paris is the soul of this collection, with its Right Bank / Left Bank duality, Paris is nourished by all artistic influences. It is to this cultivated, intellectual, original and free-spirited Parisienne that I wanted to pay tribute.”

The leather-goods pieces from the Spring-Summer 2017 collection grace the campaign. The Louis Vuitton iPhone cases, a Petite Malle “Column” bag that hands effortlessly from a wrought-iron railing and a Petite Malle in printed epi leather are featured in a series of eye-catching images.
