Roger Dubuis has unveiled a 20-piecel Limited Edition Excalibur Spider Americas which will be available at the Roger Dubuis Madison Avenue Boutique. The innovator of contemporary skeleton calibers, the luxury watches manufacturer has preserved the design codes of its legendary Excalibur line in the new timepiece. The Spider models borrow their name from the complex but delicate work of a spider’s web.
A specialist in architectural and technical mechanics, Roger Dubuis goes over the top with the Excalibur Spider Skeleton Flying Tourbillon by skeletonizing not only the movement, but also the case, flange, and hands. The open-worked case displays the meticulous details of the hand wound movement, which features a flying tourbillon and 60 hour power reserve, which boasts a stamp of approval of the Poinçon de Genève. Ultra light 42mm titanium case appears even lighter in this iteration with a white rubber strap. Red and yellow accents lend an audacious burst of color the on the dial, where the signature star-shaped bridge which characterizes all Roger Dubuis skeleton movements is exhibited.
It is exciting to present this limited edition Excalibur Spider. The Spider is a daring and powerful design, as well as a prime example of the technical expertise of our Manufacture, all of which makes it a very fitting model for an US exclusive edition. – Jorge Puentes, President of Roger Dubuis North America
