The Regatta is a nautically inspired Rolls-Royce Wraith that could be matched to any yacht. SottoStudios has created a yacht-inspired concept exclusively tailored to the $300,000 model and which is perfectly suited for the firm’s inaugural design named “Skyacht One“.
The exterior of the Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta by SottoStudios is something you’ve never seen before. The vehicle’s hood, roof and rear are framed with satin aluminum, complemented by a solid mahogany tail. It is also possible to personalize the car by specifying a different wood-paint combination. “We can customize the woods to a virtually endless palette so each one is special and unique,” says Eddie Sotto, the company’s founder and chief designer. “We channel the client’s personality, then create a distinctive design signature that emotionally represents him or her.”
The interior of Regatta is accentuated with handcrafted details. Marquetry and intarsia that recalls the Studiolos of Italy are embedded and accented by nautical brass inlays and trimmed vents. The seating is offset by ocean blue carpeting and trim, along with hand engraved appointments, bejeweled controls and antique brass exposed mahogany beam structure. Starry night or tooled leather headliner is a matter of choice.
SottoStudios’ Regatta will cost roughly $1 million. After the Rolls-Royce Wraith leaves the dealership it is ready to get Regatta trim by the Aria Group, the California-based design and fabrication firm responsible for creating a host of high-profile carmaker concept vehicles, including the Mazda Furai and the Kia GT4 Stinger.
