The Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003S is a limited edition sports car manufactured by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus company owned by James Glickenhaus. Scheduled to make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the new street legal supercar is promised be the fastest cornering vehicle in the world, capable of producing 2G of down-force. Top speed is a claimed 350kmh and the 0-100kmh sprint will reportedly be reached in less than 3 seconds.
The SCG003S is based on the prominent racing car SCG003C and will utilize its technology and chassis structure but with more advanced performance. The SCG003C, a racing car based around a carbon fibre monocoque and powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 Honda engine, has recently won its class in the annual Nurburgring 24-hour sports car race. Just like the race car, the road version uses the same carbon fiber centerpiece but is powered by a 560kW 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
The new beast from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus will be hand-built by Manufattura Automobili Torino in Italy. The Supercar will feature a high level of customization options, with styling personalization available for each buyer, as well as mechanical modifications to suit the driver’s needs. Production is due to begin in the middle of the year in limited numbers.
