Known as the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of luxury sailing and power multihulls, Sunreef Yachts takes pride in its Sunreef 74 line of sailing catamarans. However, the Polish-based shipyard has something new and advanced up its sleeve – Diana, the most technically advanced edition of Sunreef 74 model. With carbon bodywork elements and cutting edge rig, she is a stately sail catamaran offering all the luxury and comfort one could wish for, without compromising the performance.
The extensive use of carbon fiber allowed to make up for the weight of the Diana’s long list of equipment (including two tenders and a Jacuzzi) and also increased her performance. The carbon edition of Sunreef 74 yacht was given a carbon deck, flybridge, bulkheads and superstructure. Diana’s flybridge not only houses the yacht’s helm but is also a prime lounging spot featuring a dining table adjustable in height, a rowing machine and a spectacular Jacuzzi.
The yacht’s sail, which can be easily controlled from the superior helm station, is garnished with the Artemis symbol that represents Diana, the Goddess of the Hunt. Her rigging includes a carbon mast and an in boom furling system. The main navigation station is fitted with touchscreens enabling automatic sail adjustments coupled with load sensors to prevent winch, hardware and rig overload.
Ideal for family cruising, Diana offers plenty of space to enjoy life onboard. The bow part of the saloon includes a bar with a panoramic view over the sea and the interior navigation station. Two generous lounging and dining areas with big sofas are placed by the yacht’s large sliding door. The fully equipped galley with abundant storage and a small crew mess are located in the aft part of the port hull.
Two identical mid-ship guest cabins come complete with double beds, ample storage and spacious private bathrooms with a contemporary mosaic tile finishing. Two more equally-sized guest cabins are placed symmetrically in the bow part of each hull. They both feature large double beds and clever storage but also open onto to the forepeaks fitted with single beds – a flexible and charter-friendly layout solution.
