Ireland’s leading independent whiskey producer, Teeling Whiskey has released the Teeling 24-Year-Old Irish Single Malt, the oldest Irish Single Malt Whiskey ever bottled. Part of the Vintage Reserve Collection, the new release was already awarded the title of World’s Best Irish Single Malt, which also explains its limited to just 1,000 70cl bottles production.
The Teeling 24 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey was first distilled in 1991 and matured in Bourbon casks before it was put together in Sauterne wine casks that enrich the release with a unique taste experience. With the help of the rare dual maturation, the spirit has got an extra depth of fruit flavors that perfectly complement the hint of smoke derived from the inclusion of a small portion of Peated malt as part of the original ingredients used in production.
We are extremely proud to be able to release some of the oldest ever bottlings of Irish Single Malt with our Teeling 24-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey. This offering is central to our goal to help drive diversity in Irish whiskey by introducing interesting and unique small batch bottlings. There is nothing else like this Irish Single Malt on the market and it represents a rare piece of Irish whiskey history in each bottle. – Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company
The exceptional whiskey was hand bottled in unique decanter bottles that come with their own certificate of authenticity. The Teeling 24-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is available in limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $499.99. This unique offering is bottled at 46% alc./vol. with no chill filtration, completing a whiskey of true character.
