The European luxury hotel company Kempinski launched its largest property in China at Yanqi Lake

The ambitious new property Yanqi Lake Kempinski Hotel is set on almost five square miles in and around Yanqi Lake, Beijing. Yanqi Lake lies at the foot of Yan Mountain in the Huairou District, about 37 miles north of central Beijing, it draws multitudes of tourists every year, as the Mutianyu Great Wall Of China, is nearby. The Kempinski Yanqi Lake Complex includes 595 guest rooms and suites. 306 rooms will be at the Yanqi Lake Kempinski Hotel Beijing, 111 rooms at the State Guest House, operated by Kempinski, and 178 rooms will be spread across 12 Boutique Hotels, on the private island in the lake complex.
The Hotel embodies the shape of the rising sun that in Chinese culture symbolizes harmony, unity and infinity. The State Guest House, in contrast, is designed as a world culture gathering place and will be the home of VIP guests and government officials when they arrive.
The twelve Boutique Hotels blend contemporary and traditional designs retrospecting Chinese Imperial Gardens of Beijing. Each building houses an indoor swimming pool, fully-equipped gym, game room, library, meeting rooms and spa treatment rooms.
Yanqi Lake State Guest House features guest rooms and suites, a 5145 square foot indoor swimming pool; five food and beverage establishments, including Reto’s, an all-day dining restaurant; Lake Palace, a Chinese restaurant; Kempi Deli, a European-style bakery; an 1897 Wine Bar offering an extensive selection of vintage wines and cigars; as well as The Library Lobby Lounge.
Leisure facilities include marina, 18-hole golf course, Kempinski The Spa, recreational and fitness facilities, and a Kid’s Club.
