In response to the diverse preferences of watch enthusiasts, Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer presents the 38mm Code 11.59 Selfwinding, a size tailored for those with slimmer wrists. The collection debuts with two selfwinding models, both housed in an exquisite 18-carat pink gold case that embraces a harmonious blend of creativity and technical complexity.
The allure of these timepieces lies not only in their size but in the captivating aesthetics. The embossed dial, a result of collaboration with Swiss guilloché craftsman Yann von Kaenel, takes center stage. The dial’s striking gradient structure, adorned with hundreds of tiny holes in a wave-like pattern, creates a play of light that is both mesmerizing and unique. The choice of vibrant purple or discreet ivory hues, achieved through PVD, adds an extra layer of sophistication.
The 38mm Code 11.59 Selfwinding retains the distinctive aesthetic codes of Audemars Piguet. The three-part case, with its octagonal case middle and extra-thin bezel, showcases a contemporary design finished with meticulous care. The alternation of satin-brushing and polished chamfers accentuates the multifaceted architecture, a testament to the brand’s commitment to excellence.
Designed with comfort in mind, the timepieces feature a “large square scale” alligator strap matching the dial tone. For added versatility, two rubber-coated straps lined with calfskin leather and adorned with a textile pattern will be available in ivory or purple hues.
