Riva unveiled the 56’ Rivale Hard Top that follows on from the Dolceriva Hard Top and is part of the evolution of the Open range. The yacht, which oozes dynamism, elegance, and sportiness, is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari, the creative flair of designer Mauro Micheli, the founder of Officina Italiana Design with Sergio Beretta, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
The hull color is entirely Riva Shark Grey with Bright Black detailing. The stern, with a garage for a Williams 325 tender protected by a carbon fibre hatch, is fitted with an elaborate mechanism: lowering the swim platform partially submerges the steps on the port side and reveals others set in the hull, providing a stairway to enter the water and return on board. The aft section of the cockpit features a generous sun pad. The deck lounge is furnished with large forward-facing seating, an L-shaped sofa and a teak table on the port side.
A raised dormeuse to the left of the helm station is fitted with touchscreen-based control, monitoring and navigation systems, including the engine panel in the innovative wide version from MAN-Boening. Behind the helm station, the side cabinet features a refrigerator, an ice maker, a grill, and a washbasin, plus bar equipment and accessories for at least six people.
The bow area has a sun pad with a reclining headrest. Forward of the sun pad is an anti-slip, walk-on glass panel set in a stainless steel frame, completed by the signal horn.
The black fixed Hard Top of the yacht has carbon fibre detailing and covers the entire center section of the yacht. The exclusive design features steel handles on either side serving as handrails and optional air conditioning built into the structure. Awnings can also be added to cover the cockpit and forward lounge.
56’ Rivale Hard Top features a glass skylight and big windows in the hull. There are three en-suite cabins and the master stateroom on the starboard side, with a VIP cabin forward. On request, the third guest cabin can be replaced with a crew cabin.
56’ Rivale Hard Top is powered with a pair of MAN engines rated 1200 mhp. The yacht’s top speed is 38 knots and a cruising speed is 34 knots. The owner can also order the standard pair of 1000 mhp MAN engines, providing a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 31 knots.
