Thomas Heatherwick’s first residential project in North America has just unveiled its topnotch amenity spaces. As distinctive from the inside as from the outside, the amenities at Lantern House were designed by March and White Design who worked closely with Heatherwick Studio to ensure all of the project’s striking interiors beautifully complemented the building’s unique architecture and one-of-a-kind exterior facade.
The extensive amenities at Lantern House include a striking glass lobby pavilion directly below the High Line, a private library with fireplace, an event suite with bar and dining room that can accommodate up to 20 guests with a catering kitchen, game room, a coworking lounge, and loggia gallery.
The two-story health and wellness amenities feature a 75-foot pool in a bright double-height space. Stone pool deck including a cold plunge pool, hot tub, chaise lounges, and travertine niches with custom benches and a large health club with cardio machines, free weights, and yoga stretching room all curated by Equinox and overlooking the High Line. There is a children’s playroom and outdoor play terrace and an east-facing sundeck providing panoramic views of the city skyline that features lush landscaping, chaise lounges, fire pit, dining table, and barbecue area.
Closings at Lantern House started this spring and residents have begun moving in.
