Known for its barefoot luxury experience just five minutes into the heart of Montauk and directly on the Atlantic Ocean, Marram is officially reopening its doors for the 2022 season. The luxury boutique resort debuts two stunning new suites, a new cocktail program, and new wellness experiences, including private energy healing sessions, salt cave therapy, personalized tarot readings and more.

Marram is the 96-room resort designed by Brooklyn’s The Post Company. This year, it revealed two new luxury suites that are inspired by works of famous beach and surf photographer Brian Bielmann and minimalist line-work from Rhode Island-based musician and artist Sean Spellman. Both 650 square feet suites feature plush linens from Frette, amenities from Le Labo, steam showers, a lounge and kitchen space, as well as outdoor spaces overlooking the ocean. The upper-level Terrace Suite’s oceanfront balcony allows guests to admire gorgeous sunset views, while the Garden Suite has a private outdoor dining space, ideal for hosting events.
The boutique resort has a newly redesigned open-air communal lounge, beach access and an on-property counter service South American café, Mostrador Marram, led by Fernando Trocca of Mostrador Santa Teresita, and Martín Pittaluga of the lauded Parador La Huella. Mostrador will be offering a new menu of classic cocktails inspired by the flavors of South America. Specialties like the Brazilian caipiroska and Cuban mojito will complement a wine list including Argentinian and Uruguayan natural wines as well as labels from local Long Island wineries.

Marram also introduces a program centered around connecting to the earth, spirituality and creativity. Situated only steps away from the Terrace surf break and alongside Shadmoor State Park, it offers free guided nature walks, Retrospec® cruiser bicycle rentals to explore, daily yoga, meditation, evening beach fires with smores and stargazing expeditions. Helmed by the world-class Engstrom siblings, Marram’s surf shack offers lessons by appointment for individuals and groups. Guests may opt for private energy healing sessions with Raymond Storms, the resort’s intuitive healer in residence or enjoy a coordinated standard, private experiences from the Montauk Salt Cave, surrounded by 8 tons of sustainably mined Himalayan Pink Salt known to ease anxieties and destress. Sessions from Marram’s Tarot reader in residence, Diane, help guests to receive guidance on life-affirming choices. Sound baths sessions ensure relaxation, support a calm mood, improve focus and influence a good night’s sleep.
