Amal Coconut Grove is INK Entertainment Group’s much-buzzed-about restaurant that’s bringing traditional Lebanese flavors infused with a modern twist to Coconut Grove’s booming restaurant scene. The restaurant, which opened its doors on May 24th, pays homage to INK CEO and Founder, and master restauranteur, Charles Khabouth’s Lebanese roots and invites guests to enjoy fine cuisine in a chic metropolitan setting.
Inspired by Lebanon’s sandy shores and modern Mediterranean architecture, the venue’s interiors were designed by the award-winning design firm Studio Munge. The space of the 180-seat restaurant uses a soft palette of dusty rose, muted terracotta, and pastel blues against white plaster and ranked natural oak wood.
Amal Coconut Grove will offer an authentic Lebanese menu. Designed by Chef Wissam Baki, it will include modern interpretations of popular and easily shared dishes. The experience commences with dips like hummus and babaganoush, followed by salads, hot mezze, skewers, and new takes on traditional entrees, such as lamb chops and fresh fish options. Signature dishes include Monk Salad, Truffle Rakakat, Pistachio Kabab, and Black Cod Harra. An extensive wine selection is overseen by Master Sommelier Fernando Zamudio.
The restaurant is also home to a 5,000 square-foot rooftop bar concept that features panoramic views of Miami and Biscayne Bay, complete with an elevated cocktail program and entertainment. Set to debut later in the summer, Level 6 by Amal rooftop bar will be a highly-designed space with a unique menu featuring seafood and small bites.
