Andrew Suvalsky Designs, a New York-based interior design firm led by Andrew Suvalsky, reimagined the four-story Beekman Place townhome. The project features elegant nooks that provide a classical pre-war building aesthetic through a modern perspective.
The resident wanted her Midtown East home to feel elegant and effortless while incorporating some of her notable artwork and antique pieces. Andrew Suvalsky Designs’ team combined contrasting solid and rich materials, like dark walnut wood and marble, with light airy silver tones along with azure and aquamarine blues.
A brass catch can be found on each floor landing because Andrew’s client wanted a way to set things down on the stairs. Sophistication and practicality were seamlessly blended to create a whimsical and inviting environment.
Established in 2005, Andrew Suvalsky Designs creates homes that are inspired by the unique qualities of the dwelling and the people living there. The firm specializes in full interior design and interior architectural services. Custom-designed furniture and cabinetry, mixed with every day and one-of-a-kind pieces, are a signature to these designs. Andrew Suvalsky’s interior design style is fresh and intimate, which reveals the authenticity within the beautiful. For the designer, each project is a chance to create something completely unique and totally livable for his clients and also inspired by their dreams.
