As Victor embarked on his creative journey, he ventured into the realm of mixology alongside his friends. When reaching for a bottle of the illustrious 17 Year Old rum crafted by J. Distilled at the oldest continuously-operating rum distillery on the island, this iconic blend undergoes a minimum 17-year aging process in Jamaica’s fertile and tropical climate. The unique environmental conditions of the island expedite the maturation of Appleton Estate rums, resulting in exceptionally rich and robust flavors developing in a shorter time frame. In fact, the 17-year minimum aging in Jamaica’s tropical climate is equivalent to over 50 years in a cooler climate.
Crafted with the purest Jamaican limestone-filtered water and devoid of any added flavors, 17 Year Old Legend rum reveals a delightful medley of caramelized pear and banana notes, intertwined with warm, nutty oak and hints of floral herbs. The NFT artwork has been created by Jamaican Visual Artist, Oneika Russell, specifically for this collaboration with Appleton Estate.
