Barrett-Jackson, the World’s Greatest Collector Car auctions announced that the final 2019 McLaren Senna “Final Order” will be sold No Reserve during the company’s 50th-anniversary celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale, January 22 – 30. This final allocation slot of the 500 Senna was sold by McLaren at a London auction in 2017 to benefit the Instituto Ayrton Senna charity, raising $2.67 million. The winning bidder was late aviation innovator and entrepreneur Joe Clark.
The 2019 McLaren Senna “Final Order” is in pristine condition and has only 902 actual miles. It is powered by an electrically actuated, twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 dry-sump engine that makes 789 hp and 590 ft/lbs of torque mated to a 7-speed seamless shift gearbox. Weighing in at only 2,897 pounds with a full tank of fuel, the Senna is capable of 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph.
Inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, Aryton Senna, the McLaren Senna is the most track-focused road car McLaren has built. The supercar features an open differential with brake steer technology, previously developed for and banned by Formula 1. It slows the inside rear wheel when cornering to provide some of the best handling of any road car built today. Joe Clark ordered this Senna in Liquid Silver with lots of gloss-coated exposed carbon fiber, red accents, and a completely bespoke interior.
