Belmond, a luxury hotel brand, has joined forces with Dior, the iconic fashion and beauty house, to create an extraordinary wellness experience in Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina. This collaboration marks the celebration of the hotel’s 150th anniversary, offering guests exclusive skincare treatments in a serene oasis overlooking the sea. From June to October 2023, the hotel’s storied gardens will be adorned with two Dior treehouse treatment cabins nestled among majestic cypress trees.
For the past 150 years, Timeo’s six-acre gardens have been a source of inspiration for countless artists and writers. Designed by Florence Trevelyan, an English gardener and wildlife conservationist, these gardens have provided a meditative sanctuary. Continuing this tradition, Grand Hotel Timeo and Dior Spa invite guests to indulge in moments of wellbeing within this lush enclave. The vibrant green treehouse treatment cabins, exquisitely decorated with Dior’s iconic toile de jouy curtains, blend harmoniously with the surrounding flora and fauna, creating an intimate and refined atmosphere.
To access the sophisticated treehouse treatment cabins, guests ascend a wooden staircase, where they are welcomed into a world of relaxation and rejuvenation. Each cabin, meticulously designed by Thirtyone Design + Management, features an individual terrace with breathtaking sea views. Adorned with matching fabric parasols, rattan furniture, and lush plants, these terraces offer guests a private sanctuary to extend their moments of wellbeing in absolute serenity.
The menu of signature face and body treatments draws on the expertise of Dior skincare to help guests achieve a blossoming summer glow. The Dolce Vita solar glow face and body treatment, lasting one hour, ensures a perfectly enhanced and extended sun tan. Depending on the treatment time, guests can enjoy a head-to-toe application of protective sun cream, lotion, or oil before sun exposure, or luxuriate in a soothing after-sun balm or shimmering oil at the end of the day.
Dior’s techniques, blending the best of traditional Eastern and Western methods with powerful targeted movements, enhance the beauty and vitality of guests. The Dior Prestige Haute Précision treatment, a holistic face treatment, combines the regenerative power of the Granville Rose with enveloping massage techniques to correct visible signs of aging while providing a pleasurable experience.
