Bentley Motors celebrates the centenary of its retail partner in Zurich, Schmohl AG, in a grand style with the release of the Bentley Mulliner 100 Anniversary Collection.
The quartet of luxury cars that make up the Bentley Mulliner 100 Anniversary Collection are no ordinary vehicles; they are meticulously handcrafted in the heart of Crewe, England, by Mulliner, Bentley’s renowned in-house personalization and bespoke department. Each model in the collection pays homage to the century-long partnership between Bentley and Schmohl AG, showcasing the perfect blend of innovation, design, and luxury that defines these iconic automotive brands.
The exterior of the Bentley Mulliner 100 Anniversary Collection is adorned with a new and exclusive Slate Blue Metallic paint, a testament to Bentley’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of style. The accompanying Slate Blue Metallic Styling Specification and personalized ‘100’ welcome lamps further distinguish these cars, making a bold statement from the moment they come into view. For the Flying Spur Speed, GT, and GTC Speed models, a sleek bootlid spoiler adds a touch of aerodynamic grace.
Stepping inside these automotive masterpieces reveals a world of opulence and attention to detail. The cabin is a symphony of Cognac main hide and Beluga secondary hide, expertly crafted with Diamond Quilt contrast stitching. Personalized embroidered ‘100’ headrest emblems pay tribute to the milestone being celebrated, creating an interior that is as unique as it is luxurious. The Piano Black over Copper Stone dual finish veneer gracing the dashboard and doors, along with the Diamond Knurling Specification to brightwork, elevates the interior to a level of refinement that defines Bentley.
Roderick Pike, General Manager of Bentley Zurich, expressed the significance of this centenary celebration, stating, “A centenary is a key milestone and a special celebration. Schmohl AG was formed in 1923, the same year the Bentley 3 Litre became the brand’s first car to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, setting the fastest lap in the process. The new 100 Anniversary Collection cars reflect a proud partnership with Bentley, offering unique features to honor our special relationship.”
Balazs Rooz, Regional Director of Bentley Motors Europe, added his thoughts on the occasion, saying, “We are delighted to be celebrating this milestone with Bentley Zurich who have been with us since 1950. Switzerland is an important market for Bentley Motors Europe, and with this collection, we honor and highlight our achievements over the years. At the same time, with our Beyond100 strategy, we are also looking forward towards an electrified range by 2024.”
