But Refuel Driver Matt Mullins stole the show with Refueler Matt Butts, who refueled not once but multiple times fighter jet style while balancing out of the rear window for a triumphant performance BMW M5 World record drift.
Detroit Speed of Mooresville, NC the automotive performance engineering wizards were tasked by BMW to create a dry break fuel filler which works a like the midair refueling system on a fighter jet like the infamous scene from the 90’s blockbuster Top Gun
BMW also took both M5’s 49.25-mile (79.3 km) in 1 hour to claim a second Guinness World Record for the longest twin vehicle drift, previously held by Nissan at 17.8-mile (28.7 km).
