Breitling presents the Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection that draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. This limited edition range blends earthy tones, chic tweed, and vintage aesthetics to create a timepiece that seamlessly marries style and function.
Breitling’s original 1950s-era SuperOcean dive watch was designed for the stylish adventurer, transitioning effortlessly from sea to shore. The Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection extends this legacy, inviting enthusiasts on a coastal journey to explore the rocky shores and misty peaks of the Scottish Highlands.
The capsule collection, available in a limited volume for a restricted time, boasts a 38 mm diameter and a range of vibrant land-and-sea-inspired dial colors, including beige, green, mustard, and blue. The mid-century-inspired triangular indexes pay homage to the vintage SuperOcean predecessor, adding a touch of nostalgia.
A distinctive Scottish touch is evident in the tweed-inspired fabric strap, crafted from a luxurious blend of silk and wool. Sold on a metal mesh bracelet, each watch comes with a complementary fabric strap in a separate pouch, accompanied by a springboard tool for easy strap changes.
The subtlety speckled, tweed-inspired straps complement the dial colors harmoniously. For instance, the blue version is paired with a dark brown strap, the beige dial with a classic brown strap, and both the green and mustard-toned dials with a matching green strap. Breitling caters to individual style preferences by offering an additional blue strap for separate purchase, encouraging mix-and-match creativity.
Crafted with stainless-steel cases and ultra-hard, scratch- and shock-resistant ceramic bezels rimmed in 18 k red gold, these timepieces are as durable as they are stylish. The luminescent dot on the bidirectional rotating bezel pays homage to the Superocean’s roots as a dive watch, adding a functional touch to the aesthetic appeal.
Powering each piece in the collection is the Breitling Caliber 10, boasting a power reserve of approximately 42 hours when not in use. As with all Breitling watches, these timepieces are COSC-certified chronometers, independently confirming their precision and performance.
