Italian menswear luxury house Brioni has launched Brioni Eau de Parfum Intense – the ultimate element of masculine elegance which is inspired by the House’s legendary tuxedos. Perfectly tailored and masterfully constructed, in timeless black or boldly colored silks inspired by Rome’s festive richness, this traditional black tie epitomizes Brioni’s craftsmanship and legacy.
Brioni Eau de Parfum Intense is the House’s second opus in its fragrance wardrobe. To create the elegant and sexy scent, the Master Perfumer Michel Almairac has teamed up with Karine Vinchon-Spehner, who was his student fifteen years ago. The duo worked closely with Norbert Stumpfl, Brioni Design Director, in Grasse. Enriched with top-tier sustainable materials, it is housed in an eco-responsible glass bottle.
Top notes of the new fragrance include a duo of luminous Italian citrus oils, peppery bergamot and juicy mandarin, that are matched with aromatic pink peppercorn. Middle notes are rich saffron, patchouli and green apple, while base notes are Ambroxan, agarwood (Oud) and vanilla. The result is a rich, vibrant, long-lasting Eau de Parfum.
Brioni used environmentally and socially responsible ingredients to create the new scent. Man-made molecules produced by green chemistry are selected from an eco-conscious perfumer’s palette. These are blended with sustainable natural materials, sourced by the Grasse-based fragrance house Robertet. The scent is free from artificial coloring, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in France in both Paris, where it was composed, and Grasse, where the concentrate is manufactured. The alcohol used is also natural, vegan and produced in France from agricultural ingredients such as beetroot and wheat.
The scent is housed into the heavy glass bottle which is lacquered in a black gradient that showcases the elegant curves of the base. It is decorated with a satin label, inspired by the labels sewn inside Brioni bespoke suits, hemmed by a golden cross-stitching motif. The cap is engraved with a B, as is the top of the golden pump spray.
The bottle and box also reflect Brioni’s commitment to sourcing more sustainable materials from Italian producers. Made in Italy by Bormioli Luigi, a prestigious glassmaker, the bottle is recyclable. The production process ensures that no glass gets wasted and that the water is entirely cleaned after use. The raw materials used to decorate the bottle are water-based and therefore environmentally friendly. The black satin-finish box is recyclable and has obtained FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification.
