Bvlgari has launched Goldea Eau de Parfum, a new pillar fragrance for ladies inspired by gold and light
A bright, golden musk symphony, dubbed Goldea Eau de Parfum from the Italian jeweler Bvlgari, made its debut in a solar campaign video showing model Isabeli Fontana’s dramatic quest towards the scent up a golden staircase. The fragrance, which name is the reference to”Gold Godess” (eng. gold + lat. dea), represents the beginning of a new collection, more than 10 years after the last collection Bvlgari Omnia was launched.
Bvlgari shared the image of the new Goldea Eau de Parfum via its social media account. A 20-second video shows the bottle in close-up, with the eventual depiction of a solar eclipse. Created by perfumer Alberto Morillas, the oriental-floral perfume copies the daily changes of the sun, from the renewed sense at morning light, to the heat of midday blaze and a sunset’s feel of nostalgia. It begins with notes of crystal musk, orange blossom, raspberry and bergamot. The heart includes golden musk, ylang-ylang and jasmine. The base features accords of velvety musk, amber, patchouli and Egyptian papyrus.
Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the print campaign shows side-by-side images, one of the bottle basking in sunlight and the other showing Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana resting her head on a Serpenti-bedecked arm, mirroring the shape of the bottle beside her.
Bvlgari Goldea is available in 25, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum in a golden droplet designed bottle with curves of divine attractiveness. Though the fragrance debuts in October it will not reach the US until 2016.
