Cara Delevingne, the face of Chanel’s new eyewear collection, appeared in the latest campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld
The 23-year-old model Cara Delevingne fronts the new Chanel Eyewear campaign for Spring 2016. The British fashion star demonstrates both spectacles and sunglasses in the ads while rocking hats and tweed jackets from the French fashion house’s Ready-to-Wear collection.

The $525 Shield Runway’s quilted pattern laser-engraved on the lenses is a nod to Chanel’s signature design element. The $350 cat eye Signature sunglasses frame the face of The Suicide Squad actress perfectly. The range also includes eyewear from the tie-dye-inspired Plein Soleil and camellia-decorated Bijou collections.
Cara Delevingne was declared a Chanel ambassador back in 2012, when she opened the Haute-Couture spring show that January. She and head of design Karl Lagerfeld have been fashion friends ever since and she even walked the runway alongside his beloved godson, Hudson Kroenig, two years later.
The full ad campaign will launch in April.
