Dutch model Luna Bijl fronts Chanel Fall-Winter 2017-18 eyewear campaign, that was photographed by one and only Karl Lagerfeld. The looks were introduced during the Fall-Winter 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection, spotted on the runway at the CHANEL AIRSPACE show. Posing in a factory setting, Luna Bijl wears a variety of styles ranging from rectangular frames, circular sunglasses or aviator frames. A series of black and white images in a metallic décor presents the new frames in the fashion house’s 2017 autumn-winter eyewear collection.
Chanel Fall-Winter 2017-18 eyewear collection includes both revisited classics and new shapes with unexpected frame lines. Inspired by the retro styles, the collection also features futuristic sunglasses and eyewear. Sheathed in iridescent fabric, double-bridged neo-aviators hit the sweet spot between masculine and feminine, their arms entwined in a black nylon thread.
Optical frames are minimalist, encircled simply with metal. A tweed motif embellishes the metal arms of bold and feminine square-shaped XL optical frames and crops up on the upper bridge of perfectly round, assertive sunglasses. A butterfly mask plays on duality by pairing optical lenses with mirrored clip-on sunglasses.
The Chanel Fall-Winter 2017-18 eyewear campaign tells a story of modern elegance that merges seamlessly with any woman’s everyday life and style.
