After two successful collaborations for a British Vogue editorial and the Chanel “Reincarnation” film, Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne join forces once again, this time for the brand’s pre-fall 2015 campaign.
Staged and shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the new images show the musician and the top model looking chic and stylish in the collection, that will be offered for purchase in stores and via Chanel.com this June. The duo is joined by the adorable mini model Hudson Kroenig, who also happens to be Karl Lagerfeld’s godson.
Inspired by the 19th century nobility, Chanel pre-fall 2015 collection features designs ranging from heavy knits and lederhosen to jackets with ornamentation, patterns, floral patches and knee-high boots. The campaign images showcases Karl Lagerfeld’s current three favorite people — Pharrell, Cara Delevingne, and power toddler Hudson Kroenig wearing high lace-up boots, in addition to the immortal Chanel tweed jacket, tailored in various styles and forms. Hudson Kroenig is the son of long-time Chanel muse Brad Kroenig. In the campaign, the young model is seen wearing an embroidered jacket and a pair of traditionally Austrian lederhosen.
The handcrafted by Chanel artisanal workshops the pre fall collection was already on the display twice. The first extravagant fashion show was heald in Salzburg at the lakeside Leopoldskron Castle on December 2, 2014, and the second in New York last month.
