Chanel Plein Soleil 2016 eyewear collection celebrates two symbols of the Fashion House, the two-tone motif and the chain
The theme of duality in Chanel Plein Soleil collection is accentuated through sunglasses and optical frames that are introduced in the range of rectangular, square, oval and round shapes as well as flirty cat eye.
Inspired by tie-dye motifs, the collection pays tribute to the two-tone palette that evokes the spirit of the French fashion house. The shades on each pair of optical and sunglasses, blend into the acetate, sliding progressively from opaque to transparent and remind the play of light and darkness in the sky before dawn or during sunset.
For spring/summer 2016, Chanel Plein Soleil collection of eyewear is offered in black and white, black and beige, black and burgundy duos, grey, blue and green. What’s even more striking about the new range of Chanel eyewear is that is matches every lifestyle ton; either you are in the busy city or on the white beach, the glasses from Plein Soleil collection will make you shine.
The signature chain motif finds its place in Chanel Plein Soleil collection too and appears on the temples in the form of inserts of silver or golden metal engraved with the Chanel logo. The textured acetate frames are offered in a palette of crystalline and translucent colors, tortoiseshell, fawn, green, blue and grey. The optical frames are introduced in cat eye or square shapes, while the sunglasses are available in retro-round or butterfly.
Chanel Plein Soleil collection will be available for purchase at the beginning of March.
