Hublot joins creative forces with internationally renowned contemporary street artist Shepard Fairey to launch a North American exclusive watch. The Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph All Black Shepard Fairey is decorated with Shepard Fairey’s signature star mandala and Hublot’s All Black iconic design signature.
Shepard Fairey is an artist of global significance, but first and foremost, he is an artist of American significance, defining our changing and sometimes challenging times. For this reason, it is fitting that we produce an edition exclusively for the North American market that celebrates both the art and the artist and in the city he calls home. – Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot
The Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph All Black Shepard Fairey is complete with a chronograph movement and cased in All Black ceramic with Hublot’s classic black rubber strap.
Shepard Fairey and Hublot first partnered in 2018 to create the Big Bang Meca-10 Shepard Fairey limited-edition timepiece. True to Hublot’s mantra ‘’Hublot Love Art’’ the artist has been embraced as a part of the Hublot family alongside peers Takashi Murakami, Richard Orlinski and Maxime Plescia-Buchi among other greats in the world of Art, Music, Gastronomy and Sport. Shepard Fairey’s striking artwork is housed in some of the world’s finest galleries as well as democratically displayed on streetscapes in major cities across the USA and the world.
Fairey a contemporary street artist, painter, graphic designer, activist, DJ, illustrator, and founder of the OBEY Clothing company is most famous for the 2008 “Obama Hope” poster which became a representation of the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign, as well as the piece “Liberté, égalité, fraternité” which he created as a symbol of hope for France after the 2015 terrorist attacks, or themassive 2015 “Earth Crisis” installation at the Eiffel Tower supporting environmental responsibility.
