Beginning on Wednesday, July 22, Dolce & Gabbana’s Portofino-inspired collection is available through Net-A-Porter’s online boutique
Dolce & Gabbana
The duo of talented designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana continues to glorify the beauty of their native Italy. Inspired by the Italian town of Portofino, Dolce & Gabbana has launched a summer limited edition collection of colorful looks.
Perfect for summer look, Dolce & Gabbana’s 23-piece capsule collection is inspired by the scenic views of Portofino, a coastal city in the Liguria region of Northern Italy. Charming town alleys, cobbled squares and quiet boat stations served as the basis for the colorful prints applied to all pieces of the Mediterranean capsule collection.
The lineup comprises pencil skirts, tunics and evening gowns as well as beachwear, mini dresses and gowns in charmeuse, full skirts in twill and sundresses made of poplin. Dolce & Gabbana’s Portofino-inspired bags and mini bags for smartphones, vibrant espadrilles and sandals will be essential for the ultimate summer look.
The Dolce & Gabbana pop-up shop runs from now until August 2nd, 2015, in Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta 7, Portofino. Located in the heart of the fishing village, the temporary boutique carries a limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories inspired by the scenic locale. Portofino is a favorite destination for Hollywood stars, artists and other creatives, giving Dolce & Gabbana the opportunity to reach its clientele in a different setting. The cupsule collection is also offered in ecommerce on dolcegabbana.com.
