Dolce & Gabbana released a vibrant video promo for Dolce Rosa Excelsa Eau de Parfum, featuring the 81-year-old actress Sophia Loren
The new Dolce Rosa Excelsa advertising campaign by Dolce&Gabbana brings together three Italian Academy Award winners:
director Giuseppe Tornatore, composer Ennio Morricone, actress Sophia Loren. Coated in symbolism, the short film embodies the story of the new Dolce & Gabbana Beauty creation, Dolce Rosa Excelsa.
Dolce Rosa Excelsa is flanker to 2014’s Dolce by Dolce & Gabbanaand follows 2015’s Dolce Floral Drops. Aspired to reveal a new sensual facet of the Italian woman, the fragrance’s notes include papaya blossom, amaryllis, white flowers and African Dog Rose, that grows on a coastal flowering tree in the rich and fertile flora of South Africa. Additional notes include neroli, water lily, daffodil, musk, cashmeran and sandalwood.
The Dolce Rosa Excelsa bottle reflects the unique shape of Dolce and Dolce Floral Drops: thick glass, curved lines and a cap shaped as a rose with deep crimson red petals. The scent’s pale pink elixir is presented in frosted glass, and finished with the feminine Dolce signature to express the delicate elegance of this complex new fragrance.
Dolce Rosa Excelsa short film sees beautiful Sophia Loren portraying mom to five strapping sons who help her restore a gorgeous villa. “Sicily, Bagheria. A mother and her five sons return to their ancient family home, a beautiful yet visibly eroded Sicilian villa, which they restore to its former glory,” the company wrote. “#DGdolcerosa #OnlySophia #SophiaLoren #DGbeauty.” Sophia Loren previously collaborated with the fashion house on her Sophia Loren No. 1 lipstick, which hit the stores in September.
Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette.
