Dom Pérignon has launched the Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga second brand campaign. The luxurious brand of vintage champagne and the American singer, songwriter, and actress have been pushing the limits of creativity by combining their creations since 2021. This year’s campaign focuses on the importance of “creativity”, and is accompanied by Dom Pérignon’s latest vintage, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013.
The new chapter of the Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga collaboration celebrates the devotion to the inspiring, uplifting labor of creation. Their shared vision on the act of creation materializes in a film directed by French music video director, graphic designer and singer-songwriter Woodkid and a series of photographs lensed by Italian-American photographer and director Mario Sorrenti.
Making Dom Pérignon is an act of creation renewed with each Vintage by its Cellar Master, Vincent Chaperon. His creative process resonates with Lady Gaga’s, as both of them approach their art as a form of work. Beyond the flash of inspiration, there is labor, dedication and craft. It is work, but it is exceptional and passionate work that lifts us upwards to the sublime.
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 celebrates the 2013 winemaking year that proved a welcome reconnection with the glorious past of late harvest vintages. After a cold, wet winter, spring was cool and extremely rainy. The hot and dry summer, however, was beneficial for the quality of the grapes. The delicate nose of the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 chapagne unfolds in swaths of color. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver, the yellow-orange of mirabelle plums, apricot and orange blossom, the brown of pepper, cardamom and licorice sticks, and finally silvery saline and toasty colors. The mouthfeel is elegant, while the finish is dominated by a salinity that leaves a deep sensation of consistency.
