Vacation rental company VRBO has recently reported a 30% increase in bookings for fall beach vacations. Post Labor Day, luxury Montauk resort Marram is unveiling its new fall programming for travelers to enjoy through the Thanksgiving holiday. Centered around the concept of barefoot luxury, the new programming captures wellness from within and encourages visitors to embrace a slower pace of life.
Marram’s new programming for fall inspires guests to embrace life’s simple pleasures:
The resort invites experts across a variety of fields to host town hall-style discussions in its lounge, encouraging guests to join with inquisitive minds. Most recently, Marram hosted Futurist Zac Waldman, Professor at Parsons and creator of the Futurist Sessions, for discussions centered on the evolving understanding of the human body and personal health as well as the dramatic evolution of urbanism.
Guests can gather at Marram’s beach terrace and enjoy the clarity of Montauk’s fall skies for group stargazing.
Each evening, guests can gather around the lower sandy patio’s complimentary fire pits and indulge in s’mores and socializing. For those who prefer a more intimate fireside experience, private oceanside beach fires can be booked at an extra cost.
Throughout the fall, Marram offers a variety of workshops focused on physical and spiritual wellness, ranging from The Power of Food, a workshop with nutrition + integrative medicine educator, Marci Moreau, to Tarot Tauk, an opportunity to discover the wonders of tarot with Diane Ferarro, to Aromatherapy workshops with Roey Ficaro, Certified Aromatherapist and Yoga/Meditation instructor.
Located in the heart of Montauk, Marram is a ninety-six-room boutique resort hotel that offers essential experiences to let its guests focus on life’s simple pleasures.
Named after the wild grass that grows on the sand dunes surrounding the property, it was collaboratively designed by Bridgeton Holdings [Walker Hotel Tribeca, Walker Hotel Greenwich Village, Marram Montauk] and Brooklyn-based Post Company and features an open communal lounge and Mostrador Marram, the hotel’s on-property café helmed by Fernando Trocca of Mostrador Santa Teresita, and Martín Pittaluga of the lauded Parador La Huella. The resort’s surf shack offers lessons with the world-class surfers of Engstrom Surf, a family-run surf school helmed by the Engstrom siblings.
As Resort is positioned alongside Shadmoor State Park, guests can explore hiking trails throughout its scenic hills a short drive from Montauk Point State Park, where the first lighthouse in New York was built and still stands today. They can also borrow complimentary Retrospec® cruiser bicycles to discover the area or partake in nature walks led by the Marram team.
