A super-premium tequila brand from LVMH, Volcán de Mi Tierra unveiled a new Surf Kit – a must-have for beachgoers this summer. Just launched on Cocktail Courier (in time for International Surfing Day on Monday, June 20th), this kit includes beach essentials from the surf capital of the US: San Diego, CA.
Volcán de Mi Tierra tequila’s Cocktail Courier Kit includes favorites from local small businesses: YeahBah sunscreen, an Urban Beach House towel, margarita mix from Collins & Coupe, and, of course, a bottle of Volcán Blanco tequila. This $83.99 kit allows the beachgoers to mix up a perfect glass of Après Surf Margarita. All they need to do is to measure and add Volcán Blanco Tequila, Hella Bitters Margarita Mixer and ice to the shaker and shake it for 10 seconds. Glass can be garnished with a salt rim, before straining the cocktail into it.
Volcán de Mi Tierra brand started its life in May 2017. LVMH and the Gallardo family partnered in order to introduce a tequila that is both complex and extraordinary. It is named after a real volcano that sits in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, “Volcan de Tequila”. 200,000 years ago the tequila volcano erupted, shaping the land and topography of the Jalisco region. That eruption covered the area in rich volcanic soil, making the area perfect for the growth of blue agave. The ash of the volcano made soil rich in basalt and iron, which gives the tequila its distinct taste.
