Slovenia-based manufacturer of boutique, handcrafted personal audio products, Erzetich, has made updates to its most popular headphones. Both Mania and Phobos offer superior sound quality, innovative design, and a comfortable fit.
Erzetich’s Mania and Phobos can be easily recognized thanks to their distinctive octagonal design. The new updates include a carbon fiber headband and cups are now created from linden wood and CNC machined aluminum rather than wood and stainless steel. Blaž Erzetič, the company’s founder announced that the new versions of Mania and Phobos are now tuned to even more controlled and clear sound and feature new height settings. No wonder that the brand has an impressive fan base that includes legendary musicians, Nile Rodgers, Bill Gould of Faith No More and Imogen Heap.
The Phobos headphones’ octagonal-shaped cups house excellent quality planar magnetic drivers that provide a detailed, firm and dynamic sound. Allowing to pick up the details in the track, these headphones are perfect for music ranging from classical to jazz.
The internal geometry of Mania’s cup is created to maximize harmony with the titanium-coated driver shapes. The headphones sound uniform, detailed, and enticingly warm. Their sonic and audio characteristics make them suitable for shifts in musical mood and tempo.
Compared to Mania that was released back in 2018, the new version offers firmer and more controlled bass, with cleaner mids and highs.
The updated headphones will be available already this fall with prices starting at 1,999 Euro for Phobos
Planar magnetic headphones and 1,199 Euro for Mania dynamic headphones.
