Selene, the Midtown luxury condominium tower designed inside and out by the Pritzker Prize-winning architecture firm Foster + Partners, unveiled a suite of newly furnished model residences. Designed by frenchCALIFORNIA, the interior design and creative studio founded by Guillaume Coutheillas, three model residences feature a muted, tonal color palette comprised of gray, taupe and other warm neutrals, combined with airy drapery to emphasize the play of light and color within each home.
The artfully-minded homes are garnished with collectible design pieces hand-picked by frenchCALIFORNIA, including renowned makers such as Marcel Breuer, Hans Wegner, Christophe Delcourt and Philippe Starck. Modern lighting fixtures from Michael Anastassiades can be found throughout every space, along with beautiful objects and accessories from iconic brands like CC Tapis, B+B Italia, Cassina, FLOS, and Design within Reach. One-of-a-kind art, including works by renowned artists Lisette Model, Christo, and Agnes Martin, bring refinement to both the private and shared spaces of the home.
A custom Selene paint color was realized by frenchCALIFORNIA in collaboration with Color Atelier, a San Francisco-based paint manufacturer, along with custom wall coverings from Calico, a New York-based wallpaper designer.
