Hadas Dembo has designed a new model home inside 180 East 88th Street, the tallest residential building on the Upper East Side north of 72nd Street.

Inspired by the pre-war boom in high-rise masonry construction in New York during the 1920s, DDG’s 180 East 88th Street pays homage to the lost art of traditional craftsmanship and features a striking hand-laid brick façade comprised of nearly 600,000 handmade bricks by Denmark’s Petersen Tegl.
As compelling as the building’s striking exterior, the model home is a downtown take on uptown living, and has been spectacularly furnished – think: one-of-a-kind pieces from R&Company, fluffy pastels, polished gold accents and custom wall coverings. Each room is a gem, playfully sophisticated and luxuriously comfortable. Signature pieces include works by Joaquim Tenreiro, Carlo Hauner, Greta Magnusson Grossman and Bruno Munari. Artwork by Ed Moses, Dan Flavin, Walter Darby Bannard and Frank Wimberley complete the space.
This three-bedroom and three-and-a-half-bathroom home offers a glimpse at life inside 180 East 88th Street, one of the most anticipated new buildings on the Upper East Side. Balancing pre-war inspired details with modern finishes, 180e88’s residences feature distinguished accents like formal elliptical entry galleries, coved ceilings and custom wainscoting. The unique kitchen cabinetry has been custom made by Molteni & C Dada for DDG.
This beautiful home inside the tallest residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is currently on the market for $4.635 million.
