Founded by Alessandro Marchi, the skis manufacturer Foil is located in Northeast Italy between Trieste and the Austrian Alps. The new limited edition Foil Oro-Nero skis showcase the company’s dedication to luxury and “High Performance Art.”
This gold-plated Foil skis are made from 8000-year-old certified Bog Oak combined with 14 karat gold plated bindings, poles and inlays. To meet the requirements of the clients, each pair of Foil Oro-Nero skis features a Graphite race nano tech base and Quadriaxial carbon stripes. The other primary ingredients are Ash/Paulownia woodcore, Bamboo sidewalls and Stainless steel edges. Also, there are rubber dampening inserts, titanal plates and proprietary resins.
The gilded Foil Oro-Nero skis cost $50,000, but with this price you’ll get a pair of lush snow gear customized to the utmost. The elegant poles are made using highest quality materials, including hand-stitched leather grips and straps in addition to vintage leather baskets.
The full package comes with unique Foil travel bag. Crafted from the finest and pure aniline, top grain leather, each travel bag is hand-stitched by Italy’s finest leather craftsmen. Available in 3 sizes, the one-of-a-kind bag is equipped with form-fitted frame for the skis and poles, elegant fabric lining, reinforced nose and side panels.
