The Haute Fashion House Chanel has released their brand new movie for a men’s fragrance Bleu de Chanel featuring French actor Gaspard Ulliel and directed by James Gray
Bleu de Chanel
Five years after the first Bleu de Chanel campaign directed by Oscar-winning Martin Scorsese, Chanel revives the commercial with director James Gray, who retells the story of the same hero, constantly sliding between fantasy and reality, played once again by French actor Gaspard Ulliel.
The new 60-second video features the charismatic Gaspard Ulliel who portrays a movie star torn between celebrity and a desire for peace and calm. The Gaspard Ulliel’s character is now more mature and looks more elegant than ever. However, chases by his fans, he tries to flee into the world of clarity and thus ultimately comes face to face with himself. “I wanted to raise the issue of this craziness inherent to the film world, within which we lead both a comfortable and an uncomfortable life. In a sense, that is almost a kind of vertigo that comes with the ridiculous and the overflow of attention” stated James Gray.
Jimi Hendrix’s rendition of Bob Dylon’s immortal song “All Along the Watchtower” gives Bleu de Chanel campaign a perfect masculine charm.
Bleu de Chanel is an immensely sensual fragrance for the man who defies convention. Eau de Parfum blends the balance of timeless woody aroma with crisp citrus notes. The fragrance’s resolutely innovative elements set the senses free giving a singular statement of determination and desire for today’s modern man. Unexpectedly bold Bleu de Chanel offers an intense concentration of the fresh, clean and vibrant fragrance.
