Located atop the tallest of Amman’s seven hills in the prestigious Abdoun residential district, 5-star luxury hotel Four Seasons Hotel Amman completes its extensive renovation program. A new road framed by intricate landscaping leads into the redesigned vestibule area and the lobby. The elegant interiors found within reflect the Jordanian capital’s intersection of Arabic, Islamic and Western cultures.
Globally renowned hotel design firm Richmond International has carried out the renovation. Colors, textures, and materials of the Hotel’s expansive Foyer Lounge, are inspired by the landscape that surrounds the city of Amman. Unique marquetry panels are reminiscent of the Jordanian desert, while stone cladding and timber accents bring further touches of the natural world to the inviting space. The public areas of Four Seasons Hotel Amman are decorated with locally produced artworks while the lobby features the sensational artistic floral centerpieces created by Alissar, a celebrated local florist.
Each room and suite has been modernized to reflect contemporary influences and deliver greater comfort through advanced in-room technology. The décor in the Hotel’s 163 guest rooms reflects the natural theme first seen in the Foyer Lounge. The color scheme of the 29 suites is characterized by the use of rusty oranges, reds, golds, and greens, bringing the spirit of the desert and city to life. All suites are furnished with bespoke and ready-made pieces, while the guest rooms encompass an entirely tailor-made collection of furniture designs.
Four Seasons Hotel Amman serves the dishes in the refurbished Foyer Lounge, while the Hotel’s flagship restaurant La Capitale offers a selection of French-inspired cuisine. While casual dining gets an upgrade with Five Grill & Lounge’s savoury menu of burgers, pizza, seafood and steak, served alongside the gorgeous Amman weather on the spacious outdoor terrace or by the pool. At Sirr, dark-wood panelling and rich leather seating evoke the glamour of a speakeasy.
